This README document describes the currently supported status compared to 
version 1.4 of the specification.

In addition to the OAP specification, this directory contains also:
- the Ebase table definition file oap_*.inp_descr (for the currently
  supported tables)
- document methods4OAP.pdf describing some useful standard OFML methods
  for application in methodCall() expressions
- an Application Note with tips regarding OAP data creation
- a StyleGuide with conventions regarding IDs


Currently supported status (November 2022)

Supported tables: 

Action, ActionChoice, ActionList, Article2Type, CreateObj, DimChange, 
ExtMedia, Image, Interactor, MetaType2Type, MethodCall, Message, NumTripel,
Object, PropChange, PropEdit, PropEdit2, SymbolDisplay, Text, Type, Version

Restrictions:

* Currently, the optional byte order mark at the beginning of an OAP file
  can not be used if the first line is empty or starts with character '#'
  (because this is not yet supported by the current version of program ebmkdb).

* In expressions no methods can be used by means of methodCall(), that return
  a negative numeric value.

* Actions with restrictions:

  - CreateObj:
    with ArtSpecMode "Explicit", the article has to be contained in 
    XCF article.csv
